Description
The Senior Associate is an experienced member of the real estate investment team, reporting directly to the Assistant Fund Manager. In thisrole, they provide senior-level support and contribute to the day-to-day management and execution of the firm's regulated real estateinvestment funds.
Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth market research, financial modeling, and property-level due diligence to assist the Assistant Fund Manager and FundManager in the investment decision-making process.
- Prepare comprehensive investment memoranda, valuation analyses, and other materials to support the presentation and approval ofpotential acquisitions.
- Coordinate with third-party service providers, such as property managers, appraisers, and legal counsel, to gather and analyze relevantdata.
- Monitor the performance of individual investments and the overall fund portfolio, and compile detailed reports for the Assistant FundManager's review.
- Draft and review investor communications, including quarterly updates, annual reports, and other fund-related materials.
- Ensure the fund's activities adhere to all applicable regulatory requirements, collaborating with the compliance and legal teams as needed.
- Mentor and provide guidance to more junior members of the real estate investment team.
Experience
3 to 5 years of experience
Qualifications and Certifications
- Bachelor's degree (Mandatory)
- CME 4 certification (Mandatory)
- Master's degree (Preferred)
- CAIA (Preferred)
