Description
The Fund Manager is a mid-level member of the real estate investment team, responsible for the ongoing management and executionof one or more of the firm's regulated real estate investment funds.
Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth market research and financial analysis to identify potential real estate investment opportunities that align with thefund's strategy and risk profile.
- Perform detailed due diligence on prospective acquisitions, including property inspections, tenant reviews, and competitive analysis.
- Assist the Senior Fund Manager in the structuring and negotiation of real estate transactions, such as purchase agreements,financing arrangements, and property management contracts.
- Oversee the day-to-day asset management of properties in the fund's portfolio, including coordinating with third-party propertymanagers, monitoring budgets and financials, and implementing value-enhancement initiatives.
- Regularly monitor the performance of individual investments and the overall fund, and provide recommendations to the Senior FundManager on portfolio adjustments.
- Prepare periodic reports and presentations on the fund's performance, risk metrics, and compliance status for the Senior FundManager, Director, and investors.
- MCollaborate with the firm's accounting, legal, and compliance teams to ensure all fund activities adhere to regulatory requirements.
Experience
3 to 5 years of experience
Qualifications and Certifications
- Bachelor's degree (Mandatory)
- CME 4 certification (Mandatory)
- Master's degree (Preferred)
- CAIA (Preferred)
