Description
The Assistant Fund Manager is an early-to-mid career member of the real estate investment team, reporting directly to the Fund Manager. In this role, they support the day-to-day management and execution of one or more of the firm’s regulated real estate investment funds.
Responsibilities
- Implement the investment strategy and guidelines set forth by the Head of Real Estate Investment Funds and the Director.Assist the Fund Manager in conducting market research, financial analysis, and due diligence on potential real estate investment opportunities.
- Gather and organize property and market data to support the investment decision-making process.
- Help prepare investment memoranda, financial models, and other materials for the Fund Manager’s review.
- Coordinate with third-party service providers, such as property managers, appraisers, and legal counsel, to collect and analyze relevant information.
- Monitor the performance of individual investments and the overall fund portfolio, and compile data for the Fund Manager’s review.
- Draft periodic investor reports, fund updates, and other communications under the supervision of the Fund Manager.
- Support the Fund Manager in ensuring the fund’s activities adhere to all applicable regulatory requirements.
Experience
2 to 5 years of experience
Qualifications and Certifications
- Bachelor's degree (Mandatory)
- CME 4 certification (Mandatory)
- Master's degree (Preferred)
- CAIA certification (Preferred)
