Omar Fahad Alsunidi is a seasoned professional with extensive expertise in corporate governance, finance, and regulatory compliance, spanning nearly two decades. His distinguished career includes key leadership roles at Al Rajhi Bank and the Capital Market Authority (CMA), where he played a vital role in enhancing governance frameworks, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving strategic initiatives.

Alsunidi’s academic credentials include a Master of Commerce in Finance from the University of Wollongong, Australia, a Bachelor’s degree in Law from Saudi Electronic University, and a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Al-Imam Muhammad Ibn Saud University. His diverse academic background has enabled him to bridge the gap between financial expertise, legal compliance, and corporate governance best practices.

His tenure at the CMA was marked by significant contributions, having served as Director of Corporate Governance and Manager of the Disclosure & Announcement Unit, where he played a crucial role in shaping regulatory policies and ensuring market transparency. Alsunidi also brings valuable private-sector experience, having worked with Al Rajhi Bank’s Governance and Legal Group and trained with Ernst & Young and SABIC, refining his financial oversight, risk management, and governance expertise.
