Mr. Sam Abdulghaffar

Mr. Sam Abdulghaffar is a seasoned business operations professional with over 15 years of experience in diverse areas such as Operations and process engineering, Digital transformation, project management, and governance and administration, and Information technology. He has also worked closely with HR, He is currently the Head of Business Support at Tanmeya Capital, where he leads numerous functions supporting the core functions of business while maintaining a general administrative role over the company. 

A key aspect of Sam's expertise lies in process engineering, which has resulted in significant improvements in efficiency across the organizations/projects he has worked with. He is also a strong proponent of digital transformation, having led and created projects involving the implementation of multiple systems to streamline business processes and drive innovation.

Adept at administration, Sam has consistently demonstrated strong organizational and management skills throughout his career. At Tanmeya Capital, he has been instrumental in developing the company's policies, processes, and tools for compensation, financial management, and employee handbooks, among other key business areas. He is also responsible for creating board packs for regular board meetings administrative reporting.

Sam's career began at Sabtco/Bahrain Limo, where he held progressive roles in IT then operations management. Starting as an IT Officer, he quickly rose through the ranks and became an IT and Operations Manager, overseeing the whole operations of the company alongside with its IT projects and reporting directly to the CEO. As head of the company's operations, Sam implemented innovative solutions to enhance the performance and significantly reduced costs by 37% through strategic implementation of process engineering and digitizing a vast number of processes.

A proud Bahraini citizen, Sam holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from AMA International University in Bahrain.
