Mr. Eyad is an investment professional with extensive experience spanning over 11 years in the MENA region. He has a broad range of expertise that includes buy-side & sell-side transactions, valuations, project finance, debt arrangements, restructuring, strategy and business planning, and has worked across various industries including Healthcare, Pharmaceutical, F&B, Real Estate, Manufacturing, and Energy.
He is currently working as VP of Investment Banking at Tanmeya Capital, where he is responsible for establishing and leading the Private Equity & Private Debt practice alongside Investment Banking activities, creating a clear mapped vision, team, culture, and growth strategy. He leads the efforts in identifying and creating investment thesis, value creation strategies, and developing ideas for transaction structure. Eyad is responsible for performing hands-on due diligence on potential targets and entrepreneurial founders to create venture and growth equity funds. He also focuses on building emphasis on LBO transactions in the region in collaboration with leading banks and lenders.
Previously, Eyad worked as an Associate VP of Investment Banking & Private Equity at Nomw Capital, where he was responsible for leading the team in executing corporate finance and private equity transactions in the public and private markets. He supervised drafting pitch materials, information memorandums and investor presentations, assisted with identifying and screening potential acquirers, target companies, merger partners, or investors, and led the due diligence process on companies for transactions. He has successfully structured and raised funds ranging from SAR 50 Mn to SAR 750 Mn across various sectors such as F&B, Healthcare and Industrial.
Before joining Nomw Capital, Eyad worked as an Assistant Manager in the Deal Advisory department at KPMG Jordan & KPMG Saudi, where he was responsible for leading M&A projects through completion, including all aspects of creating marketing and transaction documents, oversight of due diligence stakeholders’ interaction, and management of the project team on a day-to-day basis. He provided valuations and financial analysis, contributed and played an active role in the development of new business development relationships, marketing and business proposals, and owned all areas of engagement management and risk management. He also provided coaching to team members and assisted them in achieving their personal career goals.
Throughout his career, Eyad has been involved in several notable transactions including the successful restructuring of SAR 7.0 bn of debt for the largest private steel manufacturer in the region, the restructuring of SAR 2.0 bn of medium and short-term facilities for the largest commercial vehicle dealer in KSA, the successful structuring and raising of leading value added and income generating F&B funds and the valuation of over 30 privately held companies across the region. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from the University of Jordan and a CFA level III candidate. He is committed to delivering high-quality work that exceeds expectations.
